I started building websites in the late 1990’s, self-learning HTML, using the discontinued Microsoft Front Page Express to develop sites, but eventually moved onto Adobe Dreamweaver and WordPress. I’m an old school web designer, but I have kept my skills up to date year-after-year by gaining experience working in multiple Content Management System (CMS) software, including: WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, Kentico, TYPO3, DotCMS, Umbraco, ASP.net, and SharePoint.
With over two decades of experience in web design and the development of websites for both personal use and professionally, I have firmly established skills to create user-centric websites built with relevant functionality that will help facilitate the modern user expectations and inspire user action.

My Web Design Rates
I employ a straightforward approach to pricing and project agreements. I do request an up-front payment to initiate any project. Additionally, I expect a written contract prior to any work in order to guarantee clarity and professionalism in all my client relationships, ensuring that there are no verbal agreements or ambiguities throughout the design process. This is based on my years of experience as an independent contractor — written contracts are the way to go and the only way I operate.
