It's up to parents now to raise their kids to not play video games as much, limit time, engage with their kids more, not buy dlc, etc. This will show which kids will come out on top. The ones addicted to games will fall behind in everything such as finances. And the kids not playing video games won't, and will be more productive for society and should be way more successful.
